Terms and Conditions

Welcome to home office Madeira | Quinta do Cabeco Alto!

This is the legal stuff that we have to include. It's based on respect, responsibility and common sense. Hopefully, it's easy to follow and not too boring.

The short version is that by confirming to join us, you're agreeing to be respectful to us, your hosts, and all other guests. Failure to adhere to this agreement may result in being asked to leave the space.

You take financial responsibility for any damage, loss or health issues. All activities are undertaken at your own risk. We advise that you take suitable travel insurance for the duration of your visit.

coliving agreement

All coliving residents agree to:

Be kind and respectful to other residents, guests and hosts
Provide a copy of the photo page of their passport to the hosts in advance
Be responsible for any loss or damage caused at the property by the resident, or their guests
Leave the space in the same good condition as it was at the start of the rental period

Failure to adhere to this agreement may result in being asked to leave the space. In these cases, there is no refund possible.

payments

50% deposit is due at the time of the booking. The remaining 50% of the booking will be paid latest on arrival.

If the guest doesn't pay the full amount, the booking may be cancelled. Homeoffice Madeira has the right to cancel a person's place if full payment is not received punctually.

Cancellations, Refunds & Bookings

It is possible to withdraw from the event at any time before it begins.
participation at any time before the start of the event. The date of receipt of the declaration of withdrawal by "Homeoffice Madeira" - info@homeoffice-madeira.com. The declaration of cancellation must be made in writing.

If a participant withdraws or the entire booked service is not used/started for reasons
for which "www.homeoffice-madeira.com" is not responsible, "www.homeoffice-madeira.com" may demand a cancellation fee for the arrangements made and expenses incurred.

The following costs are generally payable in the event of withdrawal (also by individual persons)

cancellation.....

- after booking and up to 90 days before the booked trip:
50% of the participant price (per person)

- from the 89th to the 61st day before the start of the event:
65% of the participant price (per person)

- from the 61st to the 31st day before the start of the event:
75% of the participant price (per person)

- from the 31st to the 6th day before the start of the event:
85% of the participant price (per person)

- from the 5th day before the start of the event
100% of the participant price (per person)

- in case of no-show at the beginning of the event
100% of the participant price (per person) + rental car + booked arrangements

Upon request, "www.homeoffice-madeira.com"will accept, only as far as practicable,
changes to the booking confirmation (subsequent bookings, rebookings or similar).

Cancellations by individual persons may result in the loss of discounts/package prices for the booked trip.

We reserve the right, at any time and for any reason, to cancel the coliving in advance on notice to the client. In such an event, we have to refund the full coliving price to the client.
