Co-living & co-working is suitable for anyone who wants to take advantage of and enjoy the benefits of community living: personal and professional interaction, shared activities, and simply having a good time. It's therefore ideal for anyone who enjoys meeting and interacting with new people and isn't tied to a fixed work location.

Unfortunately, the house cannot be viewed in advance for the following reasons:
- Maintaining the privacy of the shared apartment
- Equal opportunities for everyone, regardless of whether you come from the region or live abroad
- Detailed pictures of the house, rooms and property on our website and social media

How much does the rent cost and what is included?

Prices vary depending on the type of room and the length of stay. The price includes the room rent and the unique co-living & co-working experience in the Madeira home office. Additional living expenses (food, possible rental car, leisure activities) would be added. Groceries are shared communally using the "Splitwise" app. Optionally, each resident can contribute to the shared car rental to keep individual costs as low as possible.

How can I reserve a room?

Contact us via email or WhatsApp or via the contact form at the bottom of the homepage and write a short note about yourself (age, profession, working hours, any hobbies) and the desired room as well as the period and we will get back to you as soon as possible!

What will my arrival look like?

Due to regular room changes and house cleaning, check-in is always from 5 p.m. The house is easily accessible from the airport or Funchal by public transport. If you'd like to arrive comfortably by taxi for a small fee, we can provide you with the number of our trusted taxi driver. Upon arrival at the house, a host will welcome you and give you a detailed tour of the house and its facilities. Over dinner, you'll surely get to know the rest of the Home Office Madeira community in person!

What should I pack/take with me? Do you have towels and bed linens?

We provide bed linens, towels, and a washer and dryer. We also have four monitors you can borrow if you need them. It would only be a good idea to bring your own HDMI cable. This way, you can use the space in your suitcase for the truly important things.

Will I have privacy?

You'll have as much privacy as you want and need! Even though we live together in a community and do many activities together, none of this is mandatory! Everyone can and should do what they want. This way, everyone can choose their own individual level of privacy and community, as they wish.
